Executive Chef and Owner Melissa Rasmussen has combined her agricultural background and love of cooking to create her catering business. Having grown up on a farm in Merced County, Chef Melissa has a strong belief in using only the finest and freshest ingredients from local Farmers. This is seen in her seasonal menus that she custom creates for her clients.
 
Her professional education began at Western Culinary Institute in Portland, Oregon, where she developed hands-on skills in classic culinary techniques and restaurant management. Her formal training included an internship at Wente Vineyards working in the catering and pastry departments. In 1997 Chef Melissa received her Diploma in Culinary Arts with honors and took a position with a corporate catering company.
Chef Melissa established her catering business in 2000  as a full service custom catering company.
